Job Description: The role will coordinate the work of MAISA’s Literacy Leadership Network and the implementation and scale-up of literacy systems, along with supporting the professional learning for other ELPL projects. The individual will collaborate and communicate with MAISA project directors and coordinators, along with key stakeholders, to support the deliverables of the 35a(7)/35m work.

Position Summary: MAISA is seeking a Data System Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a modern enterprise data infrastructure with a focus on data ingestion and data processing for our statewide K12 Big Data ecosystem solution called MiGreatDataLake. This position is responsible for ensuring the data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and efficient. The MiGreatDataLake team will work closely with the Project Advisory, MAISA membership,  and a variety of data consumers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that enhance data accessibility, integrity, and usability to support data-driven decision-making, improve student outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency.  (Please see the MiGreatDataLake Feasibility Study for more information.)
